  • Team Member,  Capacity Assessment of the States of  Rajasthan for implementing National Capacity Building Framework for Local Governments of India  for the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India
  • External Facilitator  for Local Government Reform Programme of GTZ and Govt. of Sri Lanka initiated in (Tsunami affected) Local Authorities of Sri Lanka
  • Co -ordinated  “South Asian level experience sharing workshops on local governance reforms” at Colombo, Sri Lankafor  Swiss Agency for Development Co-operation(SDC)
  • Team Leader for “ review of capacity building initiatives for Strengthening Rural Decentralization (SRD) in West Bengal, India. The review was done on behalf  of Govt.of West Bengal and DFID.  
  • Principal Investigator of the  research study “HIV/AIDS: Capacity building needs of elected leaders at local self governance bodies in Kerala”, funded by DFID and SHRC, New Delhi.  
  • External Evaluator for Futures Group International and National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) New Delhi for developing HIV/AIDS district plan and evaluation of HIV/AIDS targeted intervention programmes.
  • Developed local government level   Policy Guideline for Govt. of Kerala on Jagrata Samiti, Comprehensive Child Development Plan, Palliative Care and HIV/AIDS.
  • Prepared micro level planning among sex workers and their children of Calicut City, Kerala, for preparing a comprehensive community development plan for  ACTION AID.
  • Evaluated Community Development Societies (CDS- latter renamed as Kudumbasree- the network of poor women) in Urban Local Governments of Kerala for Govt.of Kerala and UNICEF.
