Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) is an autonomous institution functioning for the Local governments in Kerala. It was registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act 1955. The Central university of Kerala has recognised it as a Research centre attached to the Department of International Relations w.e.f 14 July 2014.
KILA announces the National Conference on ‘Twenty five years of Panchayati Raj’
It is on 24th April 1993 that the 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act 1992 came into force by providing constitutional status to the Panchayati Raj’ Institutions. And now it is 25 years! It is time to look back and then look forward.
KILA is planning to organize a National Conference on “Twenty five years of Panchayati Raj” on 24th and 25th April 2018 in Trivandrum, Kerala.
